Shoonya – I would love to be a zero!

When I realized the larger truth of life,

I realized that God is the truth;the wise.

And the truth had called me:

To love his creation

To enjoy the revelation

This was a gift that I would always cherish ;

Do I expect the same from fellows around,

I was again grateful to the Truth

Who warned me about such expectations.



It is indeed a blessing I am very much blessed with

that if absent in others is no cause to frown with.

But it does hurt me when,

Such wretched souls find

My simplicity, my selfless love

A mere surprise or a hoax.

I do get hurt when I see them

Frustrating about my love for Truth;

And the straight path that I do follow.

I do get hurt when they force me

and many a times when they ask me;

to change and follow a world of deceit,

a world of greed and opportunism,

so that they will call me worldly wise and smart.

But I declare to them: that

I would rather die but follow their art

To cheat and be called smart!

To plot and be called A hero!

I would thus loved to be a ZERO!
